Subject: Summary: datetime16 informat on sashelp.vtable ver6.12 ts60
Content-Type: text/plain

Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry about sashelp views using a 2 digit year informat. Special thanks to Dianne Rhodes who pointed out that as long as my OS passes a 4 digit year to the SAS view, all is well. I verified this by setting my yearcutoff option to 1800, creating a dataset, and checking the date. It was correctly set to 1999, which was visible by changing the format on the vtable view to datetime20.

A Very Happy New Year to all!

Cynthia
