I'm not sure I understand? What do you mean by "vacation" and "precedence?"

Please advise

-----Original Message----- From: F.J. Kelley, SAS-L at UGA List Owner [mailto:saslmnt@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU] Subject: "out of office" messages on SAS-L

With the holidays approaching, and work schedules moving about, I want to remind subscribers that if your "out of office" message goes to either SAS-L or to persons who post to SAS-L, I will delete your subscription at once. Please note that "vacation" looks for a header called "Precedence:". This is not an RFC-822 header and Listserv is rather ruthlessly RFC-822-compliant. Contact your mail administrator for assistance in correctly configuring your responder.

That unpleasantness aside, I wish all the readership a happy and safe holiday season. -- F.J. Kelley saslmnt@listserv.uga.edu
