I agree and henceforth I will restrict any postings about Perl to occasional announcements of Perl-related projects which might be of interest to SAS users. But we should definitely not discuss the arcana of Perl versus SAS syntax (or benchmarks - I am also guilty!) and the like on-list. Nor should we enter into SAS-must-be-better-because-I'm-paying-a-lot-for-it or Perl-is-the-answer-to-life-death-and-everything arguments (...neither proposition is true...).
