A good idea in principle, but in practice one should not depend on the accuracy and reliability of solutions posted on SAS/L. Consider this a forum for free and timely exchange of ideas (emphasis on "free"). Postings to the list allow others to recognize errors and do not hesitate to alert SAS/L listeners when they find them. Most posters consider it bad form to post solutions with errors and make an honest effort to avoid doing so. Errors do creep in, but we offer the same warranty of program quality offered by the largest vendor of computer programs in the world! Sig
