We are running SAS 6.12.

We have been using SAS and DDE to transfer data from MS/Access to SAS. The ODBC driver is not licensed and is not an option for us. We now have upgraded or are in the process of upgrading MS/Access to MS/Access 97. Access 97 imposes a 2 gigabyte limit on the buffer when using dde. This was not a limitation in the previous version of Access. Has anyone found a way around this buffer limit? Our data sets average about 3.5 gigabytes.

Thanks in advance.
