Nov 1999 HASUG Flash Ready November 2, 1999

To HASUG members and other SAS professionals,

The November 1999 HASUG's Flash newsletter is ready for viewing on line at www.hasug.org. Just look for the latest issue of the HASUG Flash on our main web page. If you have trouble opening/viewing this issue, try viewing it more than once and make sure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader to open/view a PDF file!. Otherwise, contact one of the steering committee members for help.

Our next scheduled meeting is Thursday, November 18th at the Waterford Public Library starting at 9:30 am in Waterford, CT.

We have stopped (as of August 1999) producing a hardcopy of our newsletter and mailing it to the HASUG membership at large. Instead, we are using our web site (www.hasug.org) to publish our newsletter, save trees, and greatly reduce our operating expenses. In place of our past mailings, the HASUG steering committee is encouraging its members to register themselves on our Email Listserv (ListBot) which can be found on our main web page.

We are asking each and every HASUG member to pass the word along to their SAS colleagues throughout the Connecticut region and within their respective companies to register themselves on the HASUG Email Listserv in order to get into the "LOOP".

Thank you for your help, cooperation and assistance. We look forward to servicing you in the future and hope to see you at our next HASUG meeting.

Sincerely,

The HASUG Steering Committee Charles Patridge
