I have the applet working locally; just map a drive to the network share that has the sasdoc files, then in my browser I enter W:\SASDOC7\sashtml\applet.htm (no file:///...) YMMV, this works for me (NT4 Server, NT4WS * W98 clients, IE5). I did put the server in my trusted sites zone, but I think that just means I don't have to OK each loading of the applet. shap wolf arizona state university
