| Subject: | QUERY: SAS BATCH FILES ON WINDOWS NT |
| Content-Type: | text/plain; charset=us-ascii |
Dear All,
I would be grateful if somebody could help me. Please reply to me and I
will post a compilation of all the replies I get to the list.
Our department has SAS installed on PC network running under Windows NT.
I have a number of SAS programs, each of which takes around 24hours to
run.
I want to run these programs in batch mode in the background
on a number of PC's on this network so that:
- I do not need to be logged on to each PC
- Other people can log onto these PCs and when they do their processes
be given priority over mine.
If I was on a Unix network, this would be achieved by using the 'nice'
command.
How can I do this on a PC network running under Windows NT?
Nobody in computing support here knows how this can be done.
Thanks for your help,
Jon Denne
