It sounds like SAS does not support what you want to do... maybe you can
send the email using a unix command. I use the rmail command to send email
from our HP-UX system, but I've never tried an attachment.
FWIW, an attachment is almost always better than including a report in the
message (nobody likes to get huge email messages and the format usually gets
messed up), but I don't think this will prevent readers from making
alterations. I use MS Outlook and I can edit an attachment and forward it to
anyone without them knowing that I made a change.
