Subject: email attachments on unix
Content-Type: text/plain
Using TS605 as a reference, I am attempting to send a file as an email
attachment under 6.12 on a Solaris unix system. I am getting the error
message
/prod/sas612/utilities/bin/sasmailer does not support attachments. Mail not
set.
Is this an inherent limitation of 6.12 on unix, or is there something else I
am doing wrong? If it is an inherent limitation, does anyone have any
work-around suggestions?
I want to send the results as an attachment, rather than in the body, to
avoid alteration of the content by the mail reader. Is there another way to
do this?
Thanks,
Dwight Eggers
