There is only a SAS workstation license or a server license. With
Win98 both licenses enable you start a local SAS session.
Of course you can do:
- using the NT server as file server, using the binaries from the
server at the client system. SAS is then locally running. You need a
SASUSER directory exclusive for this user or the SAS option RSASUSER
in the config.sas. And licences for the local SAS systems of course.
- if you want to start jobs on the server fro your local SAS session
you need the SAS\Spawner service installed at the server and
SAS\Connect licences on the server and the clients.
