Subject: maximum likelihood estimates

Is any one know whether there is a specific computer program for computing the maximum likelihood estimates in the context of bioassay. These are iterative likelihood estimation computer programs that use numerical or computational algorithms. Will you please send me some references.

Thanks, Rohan
