Try using the HTML formatting tool tab2htm. You can then cut and paste(special) straight to EXCEL. It formats very nicely.

Is there a clean way to take Proc Tabulate output and directly move it into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet? Currently, we create the Tabulate output on Unix and ftp the .lst file to the PC. On the PC side we use products like Monarch to clean-up the Tabulate boxes before importing into Excel. Environment: SAS on Dec-Unix, PC running NT4.0 and Excel 97

TIA
