We have RENTPGM=NOPROTECT in development regions. We are Xpediter users. The problem is that we don't find out the bad code until they get to our QA regions where we have RENTPGM=PROTECT. This is such a show stopper when we upgraded CICS from V3 to V4 in the QA regions. Everything checked out in test regions and failed in QA. The applications have to be retested and corrected to iron out those problems. You know the rest of the story...
