We all fail to notice things (I am a prime culprit) in new versions - or maybe that 15 years' experience of yours does not include PC SAS 6.12? 'Saving As' RTF is one of the (lametably few - how long do we have to wait for direct 'Save as Word' and 'Save as WordPerfect' options!!) standard menu options on the 'File' menu in 6.12 (for Windows vesrions, at least).

Kind Regards,

John
