Having upgraded a PowerMac 7100 to System 8.1, I successfully reinstalled
a site licenced SPSS 6.1.1, using 11 disks from 1995. I didn't try it with
8.0. SPSS announced they do not intend to provide new versions for the
Mac about a year ago. So far there is no sign they are going to change
their mind.
