Subject: Moving SAS Datasets to Oracle Tables Under UNIX Plateform
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi folks,

I want to move hundrads of SAS datests to Oracle Tables. We are using SAS 6.12 and Oracle V8.05 on UNIX. I have two questions.

1. How stable (reliable) is Oracle 8.05 on UNIX. Should we use it or stay with Oracle 7.??.

2. What is the best way to move the datasets. Should we use SAS PASS THROUGH or some other procedure. Any example how this will work be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
