We have a couple of free SAS tools that may help:

Message: A SAS/AF program that displays a message screen in AF programs. You can specify dynamic text for the message screen pushbuttons (OK, Cancel, Yes, No, etc.)

MSGDLL: SAS/AF utility that uses the MessageBoxA Windows DLL to display message screens in AF programs. This second one creates the boxes with the icons.
