Hi Sas-Lers:

I need to get a set of SAS reference books and need suggestions. I've tried deciphering the SAS pub catalog, but there seems to be a lot of duplication. At a minimum I need

1) The basic data step functions 2) ETS 3) Statistical Functions

I work on Unix, MVS, and PC. I've got a pretty good handle on the system-specific stuff, so I mainly need the SAS reference stuff.

Any suggestions on a "starter set" of books to order?

Thanks in Advance

Pete DaDalt
