I looked on the SAS web page but could not find much info there. I'm familiar with both the TM1 and Essbase OLAP products. Does the SAS/MDDB have features similar to these packages (e.g., Excel as the front end, sparse calculation algorithm, VERY easy to use)? I use base SAS a bit for data processing and regression, but often wished it had OLAP capabilities. Is it possible to perform multidimensional regressions in SAS/MDDB? Is it a major leap to jump from base SAS to SAS/MDDB? Any info is appreciated. -------------------------------------- David Boylan Corporate Forecasting UtiliCorp United, Inc. 816.467.3062 --------------------------------------
