SYSTAT 6.0 or higher will compute the area under the polygon generated by a list of variables. The variables may be equally or unequally spaced. In the latter case, the variables and time values are specified in pairs.

For example:

CALC ARE ( 10 20 40 80 ) 105.000

or for unequally spaced data (the first number is the x or time coordinate, the second is the y coordinate):

CALC ARU ( 2,1 4,20 8,15 16,2 ) 159.000
