SYSTAT 6.0 or higher will compute the area under the polygon generated
by a list of variables. The variables may be equally or unequally
spaced. In the latter case, the variables and time values are specified
in pairs.
For example:
CALC ARE ( 10 20 40 80 )
105.000
or for unequally spaced data (the first number is the x or time
coordinate, the second is the y coordinate):
CALC ARU ( 2,1 4,20 8,15 16,2 )
159.000
