Subject: Terminating a Sub

Hi everybody,

does anybody know how to end an incomplete Submit under Windows (except leaving SAS, of course)?

During tjhe development of SAS-Scripts it often happens that a part of a statement (a ";" or ")" ) is missing and SAS ends up a little bit confused. The next submitted statemnets then will cause further errors and often I see no way to recover from this situation except ending Sas and starting a new session. Is there a way to do this by sending a command (Reset for example, that in fact does not exist) that cleans up the mess and preserves all datasets that were created before?

I suppose this possibility exists, I only have not heard of it yet.

Thanks for your help,

Stefan Blochwitz
