Subject:   problem using DDE to excel
Content-Type:   text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Hello World !

I'm putting data from a sas dataset into an excel spreadsheet. Almost everything is working as I want it to, but there's 1 small problem : in my dataset there is a character variable which can have a value '02/10' ( 2 figures with a / in between). When I look to excel, it is converted to 02-Oct. Even if I format the cell to text before putting the data !! Can't I use another format in SAS or Excel or is there a possibility to prevent the conversion in Excel ??
