Subject: SAS dataset I/O - heavy sequential or random?
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

Do SAS datasets create heavy sequential or random I/O? I'm trying to determine whether to use striping or not on about 16GB of space- or maybe even RAID 5? Too much writing for RAID 5?
