I was surprised to read, in the Q1 1998 issue of Authorline from SAS
Institute, that Tamara Fischell had died.
 
She had posted many times to SAS-L, the last time (according to DejaNews)
in December of 1997.  Her specialty was clinical trials.
 
The cause of death was not mentioned in the article.
