Subject: SAS 6.11 crashes on 300Mhz Pentium II
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
I have just re-installed SAS 6.11 after upgrading my computer
to a 300 Mhz Pentium II machine (Dell Dimension XPS D300). I
am running Win95 OSR2 on this machine.
SAS will not start. Immmediately after startup it crashes
to a blue screen with an exception error in VxD VWIN32(05).
This locks the system and requires a reboot.
Is there a workaround? Is the processor speed a problem?
Or Windows 95 OSR2? I have no problem with SAS 6.11 on a
200 Mhz Pentium Pro running NT 4.0 ...
