Subject:   Saving a dataset into an ascii file
Content-Type:   text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello, there,

I am a SAS beginner and this is my first time in comp.soft-sys.sas, so sorry if my question is too naive.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to save a SAS dataset in ascii format so that it can be retrieved with Excel or handled with some other statistical package/languaje?

Thanks in advance,

Manuel.
