Dirk,

Thanks for the response. I think that I've determined that my problem can be solved by recording macros using the Excel Macro language option instead of Visual Basic. I've seen the COMMAND statement, but in this case I don't think that it's necessary.

I'd still like to know if Visual Basic can be used somehow.
