SPSS uses the defaults set in your config.sys.
Add a line in your config.sys:
SET TEMP=C:\TEMP
if c:\temp is the directory you want to write your temporary files to.
Be sure to check if the temp file you specify in the config.sys file
really excists on your hard drive!
Remember that every temp file by any windows based program will be
written to this directory. (and DOS programs if they use the set
command)
Besides, if your netwotk is proparly configured it won't accept
temporary files on remote drives.
the safest way to modify your config.sys file under Windows (3.x or
95) run the program SYSEDIT.
