Subject: Zip to County Table
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Colleagues,

As many of you know, the Red River valley bordering MN and ND is experiencing flooding that has virtually wiped out many towns. Many farmers and others will see dramatic decreases in their incomes in the next year. This has implications for the U of MN system in that we may see higher demand for financial aid in the next year. In order to get a better handle on the possible scope of the problem, we would like to id all of our students who reside in the counties bordering the Red River. However, the only address info we have about our students is zip code. Is there a SAS table lookup for zip to county? If not, any ideas on how to do the above would be greatly appreciated.

Steve
