| Subject: | ODD PROBLEM WITH MVS AND SAS SHARE |
| Content-Type: | text/plain; charset=US-ASCII |
SAS Share was installed and working correctly on a remote MVS host.It
suddenly stopped working. The set up of Share and proc server etc has been
checked by SI people. The error message now received is
libname datar remote slibref=kapurdta server=me01.sasrapu
You cannot connect to server SASRAPU because ERROR: Cannot connect to TCP
socket. System message is '10061 - WSAECONNREFUSED'.
The access method is TCP/IP. It is possible that the MVS SAS administrator
(who is on vacation) has made some system changes that caused this effect.
Has anybody ever encountered a similar problem or error message, and
successfully diagnosed it?

Nya Murray
