Package circa 30K South East England
Pfizer is one of the world's largest and most successful pharmaceutical
companies, at the cutting edge of technology. We have grown
consistently over recent years and continue to invest heavily both in
terms of technical investment (IT UK budget for 1997 is over 10m) and
in the training and career development of our people.
Our "SAS Team" within Clinical IT assist in the development and support
of SAS based systems used by over 140 Statisticians and Data Managers.
Our challenge? To provide a validated and controlled environment to
support our business. We are migrating from VAX/Alpha VMS to the
latest UNIX and web technologies with ORACLE CLINICAL as our data
repository.
Can you meet the challenge? If you are an enthusiastic, highly
motivated and competent SAS Developer, we'll offer you an exciting
environment in which to grow. Highly client focused you will ideally
be using the latest releases of SAS including SAS Base, SAS Macros, SAS
AF and SAS Frame. You should have a good knowledge of working in
client server environments, of code control and configuration
management. Attention to detail, both in developing and complying to
standards and providing good quality documentation are important. But
most of all you'll be a good communicator, keen to work within a
friendly team environment.
This role will involve international travel.
The group has a real "team spirit" and frequently meet either at our
Sports and Social club or through a variety of activities available in
the area.
An excellent range of benefits and relocation expenses are available.
Interested? Then please apply, enclosing a CV and covering letter,
quoting the reference "SAS", explaining how your skills meet our needs
