Many in our Operations staff have ambitions toward continuing their career in systems programming, but lack the knowledge/experience to get there. We do have one trainee position in systems, but that is currently filled and we are required to run too lean to open up any more positions (sound familiar?) ;-)

Most of our Operators can't afford the time or money to attend formal classes in the various disciplines, hence my question...

Is anyone on the list aware of inexpensive or moderately expensive self-study, or CBT courses (CICS, MVS, SMS, etc.) we could use for this purpose. You can respond directly to me to avoid wasting bandwidth on the list.

TIA,

Jim DuVall Mgr., Tech. Support Nissan North America jim.duvall@nissan-usa.com
