Subject: sas memory error

Hi, I have a client who is running a sas program using a macro called glimmix. We are running sas 6.10 on an sgi Challenge XL. The problem is that the sas program is bombing giving the following sas error: "Unable to allocate sufficient memory. At least 7009k bytes were requested, but only 5416k were available."

Is there some way to increase the memory allocation in sas? The client insists that the logic of her program is correct and cannot be approached in any other way.

Thank you for your help.

Please respond to the list or by email to robyn@uwindsor.ca.
