Sorry for this irritating test message. I'm doing a test to compare of
mail rec'vd from SAS-L via the list server (ie by email) with via the
newsgroup comp.soft-sys.sas.

 
I suspect that the newsgroup way of receiving is much slower (in the
order of days).

 
I'll post my conculsions if they are of interest.
