Howdy? It is Wylbur for me. There used to be a PC version, I do not know if it is still available.

For years I have been urging SAS Institute to include Wylbur-like features in the SAS Program Editor, but so far it has been like playing a fiddle to a goat.

All PC based SAS users:

Is there an editor of choice that is used on the PC for developing SAS applications other than the SAS editor?

I am familiar with Xedit on CMS and would like to get a similar editor to use on the PC. On CMS, I find that the SAS editor is just not useful for a lot of things that I frequently do in an editor. For example, I frequently make use of the ALL command (I suppose it is a macro) in Xedit that "shows" all rows in a large file that contain a certain string. This narrows the field down to only a few lines when looking at say a particular variable and its calculations. I haven't been able to find a way to do this in the SAS editor and am hoping to find an editor on PC that can do this and other similar kinds of things.
