Subject:   MVS and UNIX SQL Pass-Through: Marriage Made In Heaven Or Hell???

I've got a Sybase data base on a Unix server. While SAS isn't installed on the Unix server, I can submit SQL pass-through from the PC to retrieve data. Can I do the same from an IBM mainframe? There is a TCP/IP connection between the mainframe and server.
