Subject:      PROC ACCESS OPTIONS?

I have a dbf file (with numeric and text variables)
but the dbf file is made with the text format only.
So, I want to read this file with sas (proc access).
By this I obtained all variables in text format.
Does anyone knows an option for this procedures(PROC ACCESS),
where I will be able to defined numeric variables as numeric
and text variables as text? (Thanks you)
