Subject:   NP analysis of left- (and right-) censored data

Hi,

This is my first time posting, so please bear with me...

Can someone point me to a SAS proc or macro for the nonparametric analysis of survival/failure-time/life-time data with both left- and right-censored observations? The 3 procs that I found for handling censored data are: PHREG, LIFETEST, and LIFEREG. The first two do not seem (at least to me at first glance) to allow for left-censored (or interval-censored) data. The third proc does, but relies on parametric distributions.

Is there another proc that will do what I want?

Is there a macro that I can grab off the net?

Can either PHREG or LIFETEST be "tricked" into handling left-censored data?

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give to me. I appreciate it. Bye,

Gregg
