Subject:   Event Driven Apps

I have used Base SAS on and off for the last several years as a data analysis utility. I currently have a project which requires me to create a PC application that will allow users to control the flow of the program, produce reports, and print results. My greatest interest is time - I need to complete something as soon as possible.

I have a license for SAS/AF but have never used it. Is this product my best bet for quickly building an event driven windowed application? Can anyone suggest a good starting point for me to learn the essentials of building a SAS windowed application? Also, what options do I have as far as creating some sort of compiled version of the deliverable? (primarily so that end users cannot view/modify the code)

Thanks.
