Subject:      DDE link between SAS and SPSS

Hello SAS-Lers,
recently there was some discussion in this list about reading an SPSS
data file into SAS. However, I do not recollect mention of using DDE to
do the above. My question is whether this can be done. I know that SPSS
cannot function as a DDE client but does have DDE server capabilites.
How can I get Windows SAS (ver. 6.10) to read an SPSS Windows data file
using DDE?
