There is a product called CICS/REPLAY that lets you capture or "spy" on any or all terminals in your shop (it has security) . It allows you to optionally record and replay the activity so you can determine the amount of work per hour a telemarketer or Input person is doing. Help Desk persons use it extensively to capture problems in production and then recreate them in test.

There is a regression testing portion of the tool that can be purchase separately. CICS/REPLAY great claim to fame is its low overhead and lack on CICS distortions during the playback.
