Why does the CRE bit even exist? And Why does it ever get turned off.
Or maybe we should ask ?How can we keep it from ever being turned off?
Sometimes we have VTAM errors which result in the CRE bit for a printer
getting turned off. We'd like to have CICS automatically recover from
this situation and allow printing to continue.
