Subject: (ANOTHER) SAS PROGRAMMER NEEDED IN GEORGIA

I thank all who responded to my previous job posting. The previous job I posted (described below) has been filled. My client now wants another SAS Programmer to provide some short term (2-3 months) assistance to the person just hired in setting up the databases to be accessed by the GUI, OBJECT-ORIENTED, CLIENT-SERVER applications being developed entirely with the SAS SYSTEM. This SAS consultant should be thoroughly familiar with SAS batch programming, use of the MACRO FACILITY and SAS/ACCESS in an MVS/JCL/TSO/DB2 environment. To indicate an interest in this short term assignment, please send me a brief description of the experience you think qualifies you for this assignment. Please include the hourly rate you require to undertake this assignment in Georgia, USA. Note, your hourly rate should include money for travel and temporary living expenses. This is an immediate opportunity.

If you are interested in this position and wish to offer yourself as a serious candidate, please read Andrew Norton's excellent article, "Designing Complex Systems Using SCL Data Objects", published in the SUGI 20 Proceedings (starting on page 187) and ask yourself if you could have either written that article or would be capable of offering serious criticisms of it. If you can say yes to either and you have had extensive experience actually using the SAS System's Client-Server, OOPS, GUI tools to create real systems on multiple platforms then I don't think it would be a waste of my time or yours for us to communicate. > >Joe Whitehurst > > > >>To: SAS-L@UGA.CC.UGA.EDU >>From: joewhite@mindspring.com (Joe Whitehurst) >>Subject: SAS PROGRAMMER NEEDED IN GEORGIA >> >>Needed immediately, 1 SAS Programmer with extensive experience with the SAS System's Client-Server, OOPS, GUI tools for a ground >>floor opportunity.
