Subject: cluster analysis with dichotomous variable

I would like to cluster subjects on a pattern of responses to a set of dichotomous variables. That is, I have subjects with yes/no responses to 13 variables and I want to cluster them so that all those with similar patterns would be in the same cluster. For example, Cluster 1 000...111 000...111 ...

Cluster 2 010...001 010...001 ... and so on.

Will the cosine similarity measure produce this type of output? ----------------------------------------------------------------- Joe E.
