Subject: Giff Beaton leads at Kennesaw Mountain Tomorrow; Liz Hornsby at
Cochran Shoals on Thursday
GABO,
I hope Hans and Franz have been pumping you up because your neck is about to get a serious
workout.
Tomorrow is the first in a series of field trips led by Giff Beaton, Chuck Saleeby, and/or Nathan
Farnau to Kennesaw Mountain in Cobb County to observe the northbound passerine migration that
peaks at that locale every late April. Tomorrow morning Giff leads at 7:30 a.m.
If you can't make a Wednesday morning, not to get your optics in a wad. Giff and Chuck will lead
another walk this Saturday, April 21 at Kennesaw at 7:30 am. Tomorrow morning will probably
have less people though...just something to keep in mind. These late April trips to Kennesaw are
often some of the most productive of the year as far as warbler diversity goes, so don't miss it.
On Thursday, April 19, Liz Hornsby leads a bird walk at Cochran Shoals from 7:30 to 11:30 am.
Please find all details to get you to these events at:

Thanks and may the sun be at your back, the wind someplace else, and the neck braces on sale.
