Yes, and you caused me to do it again. I will today withdraw from Conch-L. No one seems to beklieve that when I do this it is in error. I assure all that it was an error. I have no reason to make such observations on-line.

Again, my apologies.

I am very sorry to have perpetuated the problems caused by sending personal notes to Conch-L listserver. Of course now it is too late to withdraw my remarks, but I wish I could. Allen Aigen

Dick, Another very thorough review of the latest Petuch and Sargent disaster. It may have taken you more time to write the reviews than for them to write the book! I wonder if Sargent is going to pout on Conch-L about being treated unfairly again... I would appreciate a favor though. If there are any Fasciolaria s.s. taxa newly named in the first or second "edition" I would appreciate finding out. I am slowly expanding/revising my 2002 [2003!] article in American Conchologist and need any new taxa that have come up recently. Luckily, I don't deal with Cones, and won't name new taxa! A review of Rare and Unusual Shells of Southern Florida (Mainland, Florida Keys, Dry Tortugas) by Edward J. Petuch and Dennis M. Sargent is available at http://conchologia.com where it is No. 8. This is a 2012 "2nd edition" of a book published under a slightly different title in 2011.

It may be downloaded without charge.

Thank you.

Dick
