Subject: Re: Population mixed model

I had planned on using proc glimmix so I'm wondering if someone can provide some information on the similarities and differences. I see that the estimation methods are different than glimmix (no adaptive quadrature). I want to declare my locations as a random effect but it doesn't look like the survey methods actually do that. Perhaps someone could shed some light on that as well.
