Subject: Old schooler needs ODS help
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Most of my SAS experience has been on the mainframe. For various reasons, management in my last position didn't favor some of the advances brought on by ODS. I need to get up to speed quickly now.

In the past I would use data _null_ techniques to create most of my reports unless the data were mostly numeric in which case I would use other techniques.

Here's the format of output I would like to create. The data values are all text.

Definition Name: Valuex Sub Code: Valuey Title: valuez Related Title: value value value Definition Name: Valuex Sub Code: Valuey Title: valuez Related Title: value value value Definition Name: Valuex Sub Code: Valuey Title: valuez Related Title: value value value value value

Ultimately, I would like to create the output into MS Word tables if possible.

This may be a tall order but I appreciate any and all feedback.

Thanks, Dennis
