Joel McNeal just called me to say that they have found a GREEN-TAILED
TOWHEE (2nd state record) on the Lake Oconee CBC! The bird is in Green Co.,
on Churchwell Road 0.3 miles east of the intersection with Nicholls Road.
GPS coordinates are
33.8558762 -83.434
The bird was first spotted by Rachel Cass close to the yellow house on the
side of the road with white hay bails, but then flew across to the other
side (where an orange tractor is parked).
Happy chasing!
